OUR JOURNEY

Founder, Scott Settoon Jr., has had a strong interest in the oil and gas industry since childhood. In the 6th grade, Scott won 1st place on his 3D representation of an oil field production facility. This marked the beginning of a fascination that grew to become so much more. Scott spent his summers working for the company his grandfather, Fred A Settoon, built on a 3rd grade education.

Beginning there and expanding over the years, Scott developed into a well-rounded employee with an abundance of knowledge in operating equipment and performing entire construction projects from start to finish. After years of conquering this part of the business, Scott stepped back from the field work and emerged himself into the office aspect where he began to learn a whole new side of business.

Soon after, he was joined by his wife and co-founder of White Water Contractors Inc., Michelle Settoon. Together they stepped out of their comfort zone and developed the skills to grow the business model that was once created by his grandfather in the 1960s. In unity with their team, they were able to diversify from the oil and gas industry and expand to service other industries. This inevitably intrigued them to never limit themselves and to always strive for more. With the inspiration of their children and their strong spiritual relationship, Scott and Michelle realized the true meaning of changing lives and their influence in making a difference. They decided to begin a new venture. This is when White Water was born.

WHAT WE BELIEVE IN

Massive action is a very important key to success. Although we were satisfied with our accomplishments over the years of expanding an already established business, we felt we were limiting our capabilities. Despite the adversity, without taking massive action we would not be fulfilling our potential and what we believe we were put on this earth to accomplish.

As employers, our ambition is to attract employees who share our same interest in seeking to become the best version of themselves. It is our goal to help each and every one of them to establish their own personal goals along with assisting to achieve them so together we can work more effectively and efficiently providing our clients with the best work experience possible.

"WHITE WATER" INSPIRATION

gold-graphic-06.png

Specializing in marine services, "white water" came to mind. No matter how big or small a vessel is or what body of water it is in, when moving forward the wheel wash coming from the stern is always white indicating we're en route!

The triangle is the strongest shape known to man. It has a strong base and provides immense support. A triangle represents manifestation, enlightenment, revelation, and a higher perspective. It is often used to mark the cycles of growth that lead to a higher state of being. Spiritually, it represents a path towards enlightenment or connection to an omnipresent being.

Our mission is to always strive to be the best we can be. This is the inspiration behind our company color. Thousands of athletes train their entire lives to sometimes only compete for seconds in the Olympics. If you were given the opportunity, would you aim to receive the silver or gold metal? Here at White Water, we continuously strive to always perform to the best of our abilities, taking home the gold!

When people ask what we do......

Whatever it takes......

Sincerely,

  Scott & Michelle Settoon
